Not great pictures but it's just about all I have left. I got this car for my high school graduation. It was a Brewster Green (the only year for that color) Firebird Trans Am. It had a 455 (factory rated at 250hp) and a M21 4 speed. It had F60-15 Firestone Wide Oval bias ply tires and 3.42 gears. It was a beautiful color (can't tell from the pictures) and the first year that it came in a color other than white or blue. I did make a mistake I made when I ordered the car though. I had a money limit so I had to make a choice. Either a FM/AM radio with 8 track player OR SD-455. The Super-Duty 455 was nothing more than a true race engine and as it ended up, only 252 were sold that year. Very, very rare. I even had a chance to race one in my car... it wasn't pretty. I knew I had made a very big mistake by not getting the engine. One review I read said that at GM's testing grounds, they had a SD-455 that had a re-jetted card, re-curved distributor, and headers and was running in the 11's in the quarter mile. In a 3800 lb car.

The people in the picture from left to right are Robert Hagstrom, me, and my high school girl friend, Lynn McVie. I don't think I spelled that last name right. It's been a LONG time. :-)
