Partly to mostly cloudy, temp's in the upper 80's.
It was a very good day! I felt like the car was working very well today. The course was small but quick even though some people felt it was a little choppy. I was curious how well I'd do against Tommy and his new 315 A3S04 Hoosier's and I was pretty surprised. Even though he only made two runs because of rain, I was only .2 of a second behind. Not bad considering his better driving skills and me on tires with more than 40 runs on them. I was actually the 6th place car but there were 5 karts that out PAX'd me. But today was Matthew's day. This was his very first day to ever run an autocross and his first time in the very fast kart that he drove. Not only did he have the 3rd fastest time of the day but he PAX'd 1st!!!!! Needless to say it was a very amazing display of driving skill by a 14 year old.
